Homework is sent home regularly and is expected to be handed in on time. Please see class pages for information about days it needs to be handed in.
We will update this page and your class pages with any useful links and tips for helping your child with their homework.
It is really important that your child reads regularly at home in order to practise the skills they are being taught in school. We have a new incentive to encourage all children to read at home at least 5 times every week!
If your child reads 5 times they will be awarded a raffle ticket and will have the opportunity to win a new book. They will get an extra ticket for each additional time they read. There will be a weekly draw for each key stage.
Each class has a book character as a game piece and are racing towards winning a non-uniform day for their class! The class totals will be added up each week and the characters will move along the game board.
Please write in your child's reading log when you hear them read as only entries signed by an adult will count to that weeks total! Just a couple of pages or 5 minutes a day really will have a big impact on your child's reading! Thank-you!
